Livingston nach mal!

After the Vipassana, we went to Guatemala and then we went to Livingston... because Margo had to renew her Visa.

Vipassana · San Salvador

Since some years I heard about Vipassana, a kind of intensive course for all those who are looking for some answers about life. I had been thinking to do that since 2004, but the true is that I never felt ready enough to do something like that. Perhaps a little bit more time to clear my own ideas, or some work to do, a new trip to plan, etc. Finally the time came, and Margo and me decided that it was a good time to go there... and who knows... try a new experience. Vipassana is a course that is been tought all around the world so always exists the chance for everyone to find one near. So the next one for us was in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador.

VIPASSANA means "see all the things as they truly are", and it is a technique of meditation that has been tought since 2,500 years ago. After my readings in deep books and spiritual matters I knew a lot of things about meditation, but never tried. But I knew it in my mind. But Vipassana showed me by experience inside of my self. So, doing that... I started to understand all the things that intellectually I supposed to understand, but did not.

During 10 days, isolated, without visual contact with others, without talking, without writing, whitout reading, without speaking... and after days even without thinking :) Just living in silence during 10 days, and following instructions... a big understanding came, without words... just with some presence, something impossible to describe... but answers and answers about the meaning of life came.

I could really say to my friends... go there and see what happens to you :)
